DAUGHTER OF KASHMIR IN WHITE HOUSE
Aisha Shah, a Kashmir born 29 year old girl has bagged a top position in White House Office. The US president announced the members of Digital Strategy on Dec 29. The department will be headed by Rob Flaherty and Aisha has been assigned the role of Partnerships Manager. Aisha is a native of Kashmir and her role in the Biden office is a source of inspiration for youth across the Valley. Aisha grew up in Louisiana, US and previously served as digital partnerships manager in Biden-Harris Campaign during the elections. She has completed her graduation from Davidson College in North Carolina and is currently working in the Smithsonian Institution as an advancement specialist.
Aisha Shah is the granddaughter of former DGP J & K, Syed Ahmad Shah. She was born in 1991 in the Buchwara area of Srinagar. She will be the first Kashmiri Women to work in the White House. When her father Dr Amir Shah decided to settle in the US in mid 90s, Aisha moved with him. Her father, Dr Amir Shah studied from the Burn Hall School in Srinagar and completed his MBBS at Government Medical College, Srinagar. After Kamala Harris, she is the second Indian origin person to join the White House. In her achievements, the youth of Kashmir finds hope for a better life and way of living, by which they can make Kashmir proud.
